Day 3 in Washington.... we took on the Jefferson Memorial, the Mall, & the Smithsonian's Museum of Natural History. The Jefferson is MY favorite of all the sites in DC but it's a HIKE from the other places so the grown ups got a workout while the girls rode in style (did I mention, we even broke an umbrella stroller and had to buy a replacement (thank God for Target!)
We took a quick spin around the Natural History Museum at the Smithsonian Institute. Our favorite attractions were the gems. They did have some great skeletons of dinosaurs and whales but the girls liked the more hands-on exhibits where they were allowed to TOUCH!
Another day in Washington!
