Brynne and I went with her kindergarten class to Duck Pond at the Mohonk Preserve today. It was BRISK (an understatement... we were all freezing) but it didn't rain! We were able to hike to the pond and spend a few hours there digging through the muck for all sorts of fun pond life. Brynne's group found a young salamander (hence his red color) while others found tadpoles, adult salamanders, baby dragonflies, leeches (yuck), and other pond critters.Brynne's "Group"
